Lytx Denies Wrongdoing in BIPA Suit That Ended in Settlement
Video telematics and fleet management products provider Lytx denied violating the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) in an email Wednesday following settlement of a class-action lawsuit over the company's driver-monitoring technologies (see 2501210054).

"Lytx’s safety technology helps prevent accidents and save lives," the statement said. "While Lytx, at all times, has denied and continues to deny any wrongdoing or violation of BIPA, we have chosen to resolve this matter and keep our focus on what matters most: enabling our customers to protect their people, their equipment, and their reputation."
