NSF, OSTP Seek Comment on Trump’s AI ‘Action Plan’
Comments are due March 15 on the Trump administration’s AI “Action Plan,” the National Science Foundation said Thursday in a Federal Register notice.

The AI plan was laid out in President Donald Trump’s Jan. 20 executive order, which rescinded the Biden administration’s AI EO. NSF issued the request for information on behalf of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
OSTP is seeking input on AI policy priorities, including data privacy and cybersecurity standards for AI development and “explainability and assurance of AI model outputs.”
