Also, the CPPA published its 2025 data registry on Tuesday. "The registry will be updated periodically to reflect late registrations throughout the year," the agency said.
CPPA General Counsel Philip Laird will provide an update on the Delete Request and Opt-Out Platform (DROP) on the second day of the planned meeting, which starts at 9 a.m. PT, according to the agenda released Monday. The board plans to discuss and possibly act on proposed DROP rules, it said. Day two’s agenda also includes an annual administrative and budget update.
On day one, which starts at 2 p.m. PT, the board plans to welcome Brandie Nonnecke, a new board member who was appointed by California Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas (D) to replace privacy advocate Vinhcent Le (see 2502040005).
And the board plans closed sessions on both days to discuss and possibly appoint a new executive director and chief privacy auditor.
