Czech Republic DPA's 2025 Priorities Include Public Administration Data
The Czech Republic's Office for Personal Data Protection unveiled its 2025 priorities, saying it will focus on how data from public administration registers and information systems is used. In addition, the PDA will study retailers' practice of making discounts conditional on the processing of people's personal data.

Other priorities include the use of cameras in transport and sending unsolicited commercial communications, it said.
The data protection authority also announced a cooperation agreement with the country's competition agency, noting the two authorities consider themselves as having the main jurisdiction over digital services.
