EPIC: Public Data at Risk With DOGE's FTC Access
Installing Department of Government Efficiency employees at the FTC puts American data at risk, the Electronic Privacy Information Center said Friday.

In response to reports about DOGE employees accessing agency facilities, EPIC criticized the department’s “agenda of seizing agency databases, illegally firing federal workers, and undermining protections for the public.” Bringing DOGE employees to the agency is “another gift to the companies that the FTC polices. It puts every American, adult or child, at greater risk from exploitative business and data practices,” said Litigation Director John Davisson.
The FTC didn’t comment.
