EDPB Issues Report on Privacy Risks, Mitigations in Large Language Models
The European Data Protection Board Thursday published a report on AI privacy risks and mitigations for Large Language Models (LLMs). The report "helps Data Protection Authorities gain a comprehensive understanding and state-of-the-art information on the functioning of LLMs systems and the risks associated with LLMs," it said.

The document includes use case examples of how its risk management scheme applies in real-world scenarios such as virtual assistants (chatbots) for customer queries; LLM systems for monitoring and supporting student progress; and AI assistance for travel and schedule management.
