Turkish DPA Publishes Data Protection Guide for Electronic Money Services
The Turkish data protection authority published a good practices guide on protecting personal data in the payment and electronic money sector. It noted that radical changes created by technological developments in the financial sector have created business models such as money transfer and mobile payment services and, consequently, more intensive collection of people's personal information.

Among other topics, the guide deals with personal data processing conditions, transfers of personal data, obligations of data controllers and data security, the authority said.
