FTC Postpones Kids Online Safety Workshop Until June 4
The FTC is postponing its kids online safety workshop from May 28 to June 4 due to “increased interest,” Chairman Andrew Ferguson said Wednesday (see 2503250053).

The workshop, titled "The Attention Economy: How Big Tech Firms Exploit Children and Hurt Families,” will feature parents, child safety experts and government leaders for a discussion on how Big Tech companies “impose addictive design features, erode parental authority, and fail to protect children from exposure to harmful content,” the agency said.
