The compliance checks of companies in a broad range of sectors showed that most Hong Kong organizations have already started using AI in various parts of their work, the PCPD noted. All of those reviewed had taken appropriate measures to ensure data security during the collection and use of personal data through AI systems, and all had a relatively high level of human oversight in the decision-making process to mitigate the risk of AI errors.
