Software Firm OrthoMinds Notifies Clients of Data Breach

Software company OrthoMinds notified clients and other "potentially impacted individuals" on Tuesday about a data breach in its network that occurred in November 2024, possibly involving their personal information.

The company learned of a potential incident in its network environment in November, the company said. After investigating, OrthoMinds determined some files and folders on certain databases may have been accessed between Nov. 17 and Nov. 27.

OrthoMinds reviewed the databases and found possibly leaked information, including medical data, health insurance information, payment card data and Social Security numbers, it said. The company did not say how many individuals were impacted.

In response to the incident, OrthoMinds is offering complimentary credit monitoring services and has “reviewed and enhanced existing policies and implemented additional technical security measures to further protect against similar incidents moving forward.”
