Ferguson and Blackburn to Headline FTC’s June 4 Workshop on Kids Safety
FTC Chairman Andrew Ferguson and Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., will headline the FTC’s June 4 workshop on child online safety, the commission announced Monday.

The commission’s tentative agenda includes appearances from Commissioners Melissa Holyoak and Mark Meador, as well as Sen. Katie Britt, R-Ala., Rep. Laurie Schlegel, R-La., National Center on Sexual Exploitation Senior Advisor Dawn Hawkins and FTC Chief Technology Officer Jake Denton.
Topics on the agenda include the FTC’s role in enforcing the Take It Down Act, online harms to children and age-verification laws.
