Privacy Daily provides accurate coverage of newsworthy developments in data protection legislation, regulation, litigation, and enforcement for privacy professionals responsible for ensuring effective organizational data privacy compliance.

The need is clear. With children accessing the internet at the average age of five years, 10 months, and 46% of youngsters aged 6-10 having smartphones, kids have exposure to risks. These include exploitation of personal data and cyberbullying, which are poorly understood by parents, CNIL said.

The free kit offered enables DPOs to host a 90-minute workshop on digital parenting. The presentation material includes educational information, practical advice and CNIL resources.

The kit can be downloaded in a ready-to-use version or customized to adapt to specific organizations and employee profiles, CNIL said. While the scheme is addressed to DPOs, it can also be used by other privacy professionals such as lawyers or information systems security officers, it added.
