BSA Calls for Removal of Global Cloud Restrictions in AI Agenda
The U.S. should urge international trading partners to remove cloud service restrictions and cross-border data restrictions, the Business Software Alliance said Monday, launching its AI Adoption Agenda.

BSA released the agenda in anticipation of the White House finalizing its AI Action Plan.
The organization called for the promotion of “strong protections for source code and algorithms.” International partners should review “existing and proposed restrictions on cloud-based services that could present obstacles to AI adoption, such as the unintended consequences of broad extension of export controls to remote computing access,” said BSA.
