NetChoice had asked the 10th Circuit to side with a district court’s previous ruling and block the Utah attorney general from enforcing the Utah Minor Protection in Social Media Act (SB-194), which requires that social media companies implement an age-assurance system to determine whether account users in Utah are minors (see 2505270050). If a user is a minor, the law requires maximum privacy settings by default and parental controls.
